MTV Live: Good Charlotte!

Fresh off the block with their newest release Good Morning Revival, they’re aiming to repeat the success of their last three albums, the second of which featured annoyingly addictive hits such as “Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous”, “The Anthem”, and “Girls and Boys”.

I guess going triple platinum and selling 4.8 million records wasn’t enough for Joel, Benji, Billi and Paul and as they went on to release their third album The Chronicles of Life and Death which sold 9 million copies worldwide. Holy smokes!

The concert kicked start with the local band performance by One Buck Shot, Estranged, and the multi-talented Jason Lo(a producer, song writer, guitar player and singer! LO ROCKS my smelly Nike socks!! Old Newspaper! Paper Lama! Ha-ha!)

The fans were kinda impatient when the local bands were performing as they were all here from all over Malaysia and Singapore just for the rocking sound wave of Good Charlotte! The hotties, MTV VJ Denise and VJ Utt hosted the concert and shouted out loud demanding for noise during the concert! They threw out goodies and freebies from the stage which included Digi Lanyard and Good Charlotte exclusive T-shirt! I was standing back far enough for the goodies NOT reaching my hand, sigh! No Luck! ha-ha!

As they save the best for the last, Good Charlotte jumped out from no-where of the back stage and smashed on their guitars and drums! Man, they are cool! The fans got high and was jumping around when they performed the debut single of their latest album, "Keep your hands off my girl". The concert went on with a bagful of head-shaking, heart-pumping punk rock songs and the best part of all was when they were performing the song, "Hold on", fans lighted up their lighters and raised up high! It was awesome!

My Papa and Mama enjoyed the concert as well and we buckled up a little earlier to avoid the annoying traffic. We went for a "Bak Kut Teh" supper before we bring our head which loaded with Punk Rock noise back home.

P/S: Hiya, No one contact me and there's still a free ticket left! ha-ha!

Good Charlotte Free passes!!!!!

Woo Hoo!! Good Charlotte!! I am coming to you tonight!!!! Yeah! I woke up late today(noon), and while I was having my brunch(breakfast+lunch), my father said I had a letter sent to me a few days ago and he tossed it to me when I was still having a mouthful of "Nasi Lemak". I thought it was just a cheesy greeting card from some kind of insurance company. When I tore the envelope apart, I saw these 4 passes to Good Charlotte Live concert at Bukit Jalil!!!!! I've participated the online contest at MTV but never expect to win. They never sent a notification email or something but only four concert tickets! oh boy!

It should be a happy news for me, but deep down inside, I felt kinda worry because now is still my exam week! I've planned to burn the Saturday midnight oil to study the Lousy-Lecturer-Whole-Class-Never-Understand subject. I wanted so much to go to this concert but when I found out it falls on my exam week, I've already give up my desire to go! But the ticket still arrive at my doorstep just few hours before the concert! Fate maybe??

I'll be going with my family,ha-ha! Yes, you heard it right! I AM GOING TO A ROCK CONCERT WITH MY PAPA MAMA!! HAHAHAHA!...

p/s....ANOTHER FREE TICKET AVAILABLE! WHO WANTS TO GO?? CONTACT ME NOW! HAHA!

Minutes To Midnight

First debut of Linkin Park’s latest album, "What I've Done", incredible song, amazing video! The video is about War, Pollution, Politics, Religion, Weapon of mass destruction, Drugs, LIfe, Disasters and etc, showing the ugly side of human being. You can play the video streaming below this entry of my blog.

I've been waiting and searching internet for LP's next album "Minutes to Midnight" and I finally saw the video for this song, “What I've Done”. I love Linkin Park (my favorite by far). They always make great albums, only releasing their best. Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, then Meteora, least favorite of mine is Collision Course. I'll miss Mike Shinoda but Chester will still make things great, so will the album Minutes to Midnight. I've been a Linkin Park fan since I was in Form3 when they release their first album, Hybrid Theory. But my mum used to complaint that their songs are too noisy and forbade me from playing their songs in the house. Well, what you expect from a hard core rock + Hip Hop band to deliver. I admit that most of the people don’t like to hear the Vocalist shouting, but trust me; Chester's shouting parts of the songs are great! He shouts neither making the songs noisy nor broken. If you still don't know who Linkin Park is, try listening some of their songs, I bet you'll like it.
